Connect with your inner explorer aboard Hurtigrutens newest hybrid explorer vessels.
From 2019 Hurtigruten's two brand new, revolutionary hybrid-powered vessels will start exploring some of the most spectacular corners of the globe – including our all new destination Alaska. The MS Roald Amundsen, and MS Fridtjof Nansen bring the tally to three Explorer ships operating out of South America for the full 2019/2020 season, which means we will have the most extensive Arctic and Antarctic program in our history.
With new ships comes new itineraries. Our 13-day Antarctica – Highlights of the Frozen Continent itinerary will have nine departures to choose from over the Nov 2019–Mar 2020 Antarctic season. And for the first time in Hurtigruten history we’re setting sail to Alaska in the footsteps of Roald Amundsen! Voyage from Greenland, through the Northwest Passage to Nome, or from Nome through the Aleutian Islands to Vancouver.
