One of his great passions is the western river systems.

6.30am: Check-in with Corporate Air at the General Aviation Terminal, Brisbane Airport (via Dryandra Road) to board your flight for an unforgettable two days.
7.30am: Depart Brisbane and fly over the Darling Downs agricultural farmlands and into mulga country, near Charleville where we land, refuel and enjoy some morning tea.
Travel west over the Warrego, Paroo & Bulloo Rivers, Cooper Creek and the Diamantina River before landing for lunch at the Birdsville Hotel. Along the way, Graham will provide comprehensive commentary about the western river systems that make up the Lake Eyre Basin and some other interesting history.
Departing Birdsville, we turn south flying over Goyder Lagoon, see the Simpson Desert and Lake Eyre. Graham will be telling you some interesting facts as we look at this truly amazing expansive area.
Land in Coober Pedy and transfer to the Desert Cave Hotel for your overnight stay in an underground room (option also to sleep in an above ground room).
Late this afternoon you will go to the Breakaways, where you get the best photo opportunities to catch a beautiful Sunset at the Kanku-Breakaways Conservation Park (The site is significant for the Antakirinja Matuntjara Yankunytjatjara People, whose name for the area is Umoona, meaning "long life") and the Stuart Ranges.
Your guide will take you to the historic Coober Pedy cemetery and here you find the tombstones of the colourful and sometimes eccentric people of Coober Pedy. During their lifetime it was these people which helped to shape the town of today. The stories of these people will be retold by our guide. Then continue and while the sun slowly settles on the horizon, you enjoy ice-cold Australian sparkling wine and a cheese platter.
Enjoy dinner this evening in Umberto’s Restaurant.
A full buffet breakfast is included this morning before we transfer to our plane and begin our return to Brisbane via Thargomindah. Fly back over Lake Eyre, Lake Eyre South and the Marree Man!
Stop in Thargomindah to refuel the plane and have some lunch and then back to Brisbane.
